Our own inflightcusine member junker52, better known in the industry as Hermann Michel, has announced his departure from Emirates, Dubai for down under to join Alpha Flight Services, based in Melbourne. Hermann, will be accompanied by his wife Oki and the cat - Mel.

Having previousley worked at Swissair in Zurich and SATS Catering in Singapore, Hermann joined Emirates in April 1999 as Food Product Manager responsible for menu planning in Asia & Pacific region.

We wish Hermann, Oki & Mel all the very best !

Thank you Sumudu for the kind words and the great fairwell party last weekend at your home, organized by You and Ravee.
Had a great time working with you All at Emirates IFS team for the past 8 years n I look forward for the new challenging position at Alpha Flight Services Australia, based in Melbourne.
We are leaving Dubai on EK 406 July 3rd 07.time for another bash!!

Hi Hermann,

The world is indeed very small.
Certainly the change for you will be very much different with your experiences in Zurich, Singapore, Dubai and now australia.

The latest information that I have from junker52 from MEL, indicates he is well settling down in both in his new role (oops! not so new)at Alpha Flight Services Kitchen and personally,getting his brand new 'Shrek' jeep and also a new house:)
